Might want to clear google history at your desk......

I left my desk to run an errand and when I came back, one of the office girls was sitting at my desk looking something up on google. My mind freaked out thinking of all the stuff I have googled and not cleared history on in the past week since getting a BFP. I can honestly say - I can not remember the last time anyone aside of me sat at my desk!!!!

Of course I want to know if she saw my searches .... but there is nothing I can say without obviously telling her what is going on - which I am not ready to do today.

Kinda bummed.  First the coffee shop lady figured me out this morning with my decaf coffee - and now possible one of the girls that works for me.

It is a funny situation since I am on the internet talking to strangers on the bump about being PG and I am bothered that people that I see all the time may  actually know.

Go figure!!!!

  • Yeah, none of my coworkers know and I am kind of dreading letting them know why I have been so weird.

  • I know what you mean! I work at a University, and my office employs student staff. Some of them, though not many, seem to think of my computer as a sort of "office computer" when I'm not there. Occasionally I find one of our interns on my computer, which was annoying regardless, but especially irritating when I'm trying to keep things quiet. Students don't always know what's polite, so I'm just waiting for one of them blurt out in a meeting, "Are you pregnant?!?!" It's fun mostly, but it can be really frustrating when they don't think about tact/professionalism.

  • I was afraid of that same problem last week bc I had been temporarily moved to another person's desk/computer. Before moving back I had to clear the internet browser history because any time I tried to type "www." it automatically tried to insert the bump!! And it had a long description under it using the word "pregnancy" multiple times.

I know the lady who usually sat there used the computer a few times while I was there, but I am hoping that she wasn't using the internet while she was there. I haven't said anything and neither has she. I think that as long as you stay quiet, you should be fine. Most (I say most, because you may get the occasional nut, lol) people will take the fact that you aren't saying anything, means that they shouldn't either.

  • Private browsing with Firefox is my best friend. It saves nothing. I've told my close friends and family now, but before I did, I used private browsing every time I got on the Internet.
