anyone interested in some open letters today?  i'll go first.

please dig down deep and find some motivation to get this house in order.  you really can do it.  but wasting nap time on the computer isn't going to help!

Dear person who makes out the resident call schedule,

   What did I ever do to you? I wish I knew. This is the third year in a row that I will be on call at the hospital on Father's Day. My husband deserves a special day with the family, not to mention my dad. And by the way, my birthday is tomorrow but I can't even stay out late celebrating since I have to be at work at 8am the next morning. Looking at the just-released 2012 call schedule I can see you have kindly not scheduled me for Father's Day 2012, but you have scheduled me for the Sunday before, at which time I will be out of town. So, I will have to trade that day for the only other Sunday I'm not working that month, which is - you guessed it - Father's Day. Not awesome.

Dear DH,

I'm very nervous that you hustled out of the room gagging when three dog turds fell out of the doggie wastebag and onto the kitchen floor yesterday morning.  You realize that we will probably have poop on the floor at least 15 more times before 2011 is over, right?  And it won't be three little dog turds...it will be much, much worse.  Cloth diapers should go over really well!

Dear my doggie Joe,
