Natural birth options in San Diego

Anyone have any experiences with any San Diego midwives, either at UCSD, Best Start Birth Center, or homebirth? Would love to hear any and all experiences.

    Hi!  I had a wonderful experience -- I had a homebirth w/ a midwife.  

    Before fully committing to our midwife, we were advised to check out and interview others, so we looked into UCSD (though we knew we wouldn't do the hospital thing) and Best Start.  Neither of those options appealed to me/us.  Way too hospital-like and very impersonal.  Our midwife, Vickii Gervais is amazing.  Hands down, the most kind, relaxing person.  

    I'd definitely recommend meeting with her if you think you might be interested in a homebirth.
