I have had this, but I wasn't pg. I would try potassium suppliments.
Def make a quick call to your OB before you take any type of supplements (for anything) and make sure they're ok for you to take. I do agree with PP about making sure you're getting enough water. That can cause leg cramps (if you're pregnant or not) so drink that water!!
Leg cramps are a super common pregnancy symptom but not until later on in pregnancy (doesn't mean it can't happen to you right now though). When I was pregnant with DD I had horrible, horrible leg cramps at night. I would literally wake up (like you) and sometimes just cry because they were so flipping intense. Hope they chill out for you and that you're able to get some great rest.
I get them usually at night... They don't last to long.
