PSA re belly bands

I just stopped into a Motherhood Maternity store on my lunch break to get a belly band.  I was thinking I'd try theirs instead of the Target one because I won't be able to get to Target this weekend and I'm not sure how my jeans are going to feel.  I'm so bloated!  Anyway, the sales clerks actually told me not to buy theirs and to go to Target instead.  They said their brand unravels and doesn't last and they get tons of complaints.  Just thought I'd share!

oh wow nice to know. I had one when I was pregnant with DD and I loved mine I got to use till 30 weeks. I gave it away though when I was done

Do you happen to know if all Targets carry the belly bands?  I don't think the one by me has maternity.

I couldn;t find one at my Target tonight   But I'm hoping to check another one if I make a road trip to visit my parents this weekend.

I know that you can order them online if they don't carry them in the store that is close to you!

I am hoping to use a modified tube top instead of a bely band.  I am from Eastern Canada, and I don't really know where to get a knock off band, and I don't really want to get a name brand as they are very expensive.

I did get mine from Target (I got black and white) and I lovelovelovelovelove it!!  Because you can fold it down twice, it gives you extra support AND it just looks like a tank top under your shirt.  I haven't had anyone call me out on it - and it's definitely shown a few times!  I use it mostly in the afternoon/evenings because there isnt much bloat in the am - but I definitely recommend it either way!
