Clicky: Wait a week or call today?

I have been really sick, puking, nauseas all the time.  When pregnant with DD, my dr put me on Zofran and Prilosec which helped quite a bit.  My appointment is Friday, June 24th and I have been trying to just suck it up, but after today, I really want to call and ask for a prescription.

Today for sure!  You don't want to end up dehydrated if you can't keep anything down.

Call immediately, without a doubt. I tried that waiting it out crap with my first and ended up in the hospital, severely dehydrated and nearing kidney failure.

I ended up in the hospital with DD too and I do not want that to happen again.  I think I am just going to call.  I don't know why I try to tough it out.  I probably should have called last week.

Definitely call today! I didn't even know about those meds with DS. I love my OB, but he has a very natural practice, so he doesn't offer those perscriptions unless you beg. Ha ha! I am very modern and pro-epidural! :-)

There's absolutely no reason that you should suffer.  Like PPs said you want to make sure you don't get dehydrated.  Call the dr office.  Last pregnancy they had me come in for a quick check (same day I called) before they wrote the prescription since they hadn't seen me for that pregnancy yet.

I week is a long time to wait when you are that miserable. Plus you don't want to get dehydrated or anything like that. Give them a call- that is what they're there for!!
