Did the introduction of solid food begin to help the spitting up problem?
I ask because I am almost out of Zantac, but I don't want to get a refill before we go to the next well baby check up on Tuesday.
He still spits up occasionally, but he is medicated morning and night so I am not sure if it is improving with age or it is all attributed to the medicine. Would you begin to tapper off the Zantac to see if he still has a problem? Any advice would be great.

Not really - but hers has been much worse compared to our other DD. She's up to 2 ml of Zantac 2-3 times a day (we haven't had to give it 3 times a day in a while, though). I'm hoping at her well-baby visit this Friday to talk to the pedi about starting to decrease her dose in the hopes of getting her off of it.
With our first DD, she outgrew the reflux around 8-9 months, so hang in there!
We took DS1 off of zantac at 6 months and he was fine. Tried w/ #2 at 4 months and he was miserable - tried again at 5 months and he was fine. Both had silent reflux. DS2 was diagnosed as "maybe" reflux/ "definitely" colic.
