Progesterone Levels?

I am 6 weeks 4 days pregnant and I saw my MD for my first appointment on Monday.  He drew a beta and a progesterone level.  Beta was 45,278 up from about 5,000 a week prior.  Progesterone was 12.21.  MD says progesterone is fine, but I think it may be a little low (Dr. Google says the normal is 9-47).  Has anyone had experience with this?  Should I push for progesterone supplements or am I just being a "nervous nelly?"  Thanks!!!!

My RE's office likes to have progesterone levels above 40. I'm not sure if you should push for it or not. Whatever makes you feel comfortable. To me that does seem kind of on the low end and progesterone supplements won't negativity affect the baby. Good luck!

Mine was at 9, then 11. I take 200mg of progesterone supplements a day BUT my doctor believes they do not help. We did however hear our LOs heartbeat this morning, so all is well! :-)

Thank you for the advice.  I caved and called the MD's office.  The nurse said that low was below 7 and my level was in the normal range.  I asked that she have the MD look at the levels again and see if he would call me in an Rx.  It couldn't hurt to take supplements, right!!!  Thanks again for the advice!!!
