We heard the Heartbeat!!

Yesterday was our third doctor?s appointment and this time I was excited (not scared for once). My doctor?s appointment yesterday was completely amazing! We were so excited to see the baby again. The baby was very active and looked like baby was waving at us. It was wonderful to see the baby move so much. I was worried for a while, because I could not see the heartbeat. Then I saw the heartbeat and the doctor apologized for not showing me right away. Then the most amazing thing happened, the doctor flipped a switch and we heard the heartbeat. I was so surprised because I did not expect to hear the heartbeat this soon. It was completely amazing. Everything is going so well that the doctor said, well I guess I am going to start treating you like a regular patient. I am still high risk; however, I am at a safer level now. The doctor moved me to monthly appointments instead of biweekly appointments.

Congratulations. Happy to hear the pregnancy is less of a risk now. That's wonderful. I cried when I first heard my DS heartbeat. It's a wonderful experience.

Thank you! If I was not in shock, I probably would have cried. I was not expecting to hear it and when he turned it on, I could not believe what I was hearing. Yes, I agree it was a wonderful experience.

Thank you all for the great comments. I felt a lot of pressure come off of my yesterday. I hope you all have H&H babies.

Aww just reading your post, makes me think about the day, I get to hear my little one heart beat. I am 100% sure i will cry.   Congratulations.

Thanks! I was amazed at how much our LO was moving. It is so amazing. I think I was in shock the whole time.

I know, it is all so exciting. I just cannot believe it is real. We had tried for over 3 years. I feel so much better now that I know everything is okay. I will just be glad when I have a H&H baby in my hands. I hope you all have a H&H baby too!
