Jeans and a polo or a henley (sp?) style shirt (in the winter). He'll usually throw on a sweatshirt over top, if needed. His job is weird in that he has a professional job, but he is also out in the field every day. So he is not really business casual in that he wears jeans, but yet he wears shirts nicer than tshirts.
Usually polos or button up, collared shirts, nice darker jeans and nicer causal shoes (not dress or tennis shoes). He is a computer engineer, so that is basically what all of the other thousands of employees wear as well. Makes my life easy!
Jeans and a t-shirt right now because he's a graduate student. Once he graduates and gets a professorship (fingers crossed!) he'll wear khakis and a polo or button down.
dress pants and a dress shirt w/ his company's logo. Friday's he does the polo version. He wore white polo's w/ khaki's for years (same job, changed uniform) and he'd never, ever wear a polo on his down time. It's either a casual button down, dress button down, Hawaiian or t-shirt.
Casual khakis and a button down shirt (always untucked and with the sleeves rolled up). Shoes are usually his Chaco sandals, Keens, Birkenstock clogs or something similar.
MF his office is business dress meaning suits and ties. He can wear dress pants, a tie and a sweater if the sweater follows certain guidelines. Fridays are casual dress and he can wear nice jeans and nice tops. His company is very strict.
Nicer workout clothes (no muscle shirts with the crazy big arm openings). He's in massage school so when he starts the clinicals and his real job, he'll probably be in company scrubs.
This but add a hard hat as well. My H works for the phone company and is out in the field all day. Sometimes he's under houses, sometimes he's up poles and other times he's just working in/around houses & businesses. He doesn't know where he'll be until he gets to each job.

We both work in the same industry, and the expected dress code is business casual. So, men could get away with polo type shirts, but he wears long sleeve button downs to cover the tattoos on his arms. Always paired with dress slacks and dress shoes. Occasionally a tie and sport coat, but that is mostly only for client visits.
