I have chicken breasts to make for dinner tonight and I'm totally uninspired. I don't want to grill them with BBQ sauce or Italian dressing on them again. Anyone have a good marinade recipe that I can let the chicken sit in before baking or grilling it?

Re: Good chicken marinade?
Bourbon Marinade!
1 teaspoon ground ginger 4 ounces soy sauce 2 tablespoons dried minced onion 1/2 cup packed brown sugar 3/8 cup bourbon 1/2 teaspoon garlic powderYou can sub Jack Daniels or whatever
Alot of recipes have you use the marinate as a glaze (simmering to kill bacteria etc). I do not recommend that. The marinades rarely make decent glazes anyway! I do LOVE this glaze though.
https://www.finecooking.com/recipes/maple_bourbon_glaze.aspx
2/3 cup fresh orange juice
1/3 cup pure maple syrup, preferably grade B
2 Tbs. bourbon
2 Tbs. light brown sugar
1 Tbs. Dijon mustard
2 Tbs. soy sauce
Pinch cayenne
Combine the ingredients in a small saucepan over medium heat, whisking to combine. Bring to a simmer and cook, stirring occasionally, until thickened and reduced by about one-third, about 10 minutes. Let cool. This glaze can be made ahead and kept refrigerated for days.

Not really a marinade, but DH's favorite meal is:
Onion Crusted Chicken:
Melt 2 tbs butter, add tot he butter: 1 tbs worchestershire sauce, 1 tbs ground mustard, coat chicken, coat with crushed french fried onions.
