News: GL to all our ladies in the 2ww! T&P to beyoga on the cerclage/bedrest keeping the baby cooking! Congrats to mrsfriend on the birth of Braden!

Updates: Last week, I had no news to report. mrsmikey came back from vacation and didn't have any news, either. beyoga went in for a normal appt and found out she is 1cm dialated - she had a cerclage put in and is on bed rest. njkaren had her last 17P shot and is counting down to her scheduled C-section. ijack is getting closer! maybenextyear2 was not put on bedrest, but was taken off of work due to Braxton Hicks contractions. mrsfriend's son, Braden Reed, was born on 6/11 at 38w and 7lbs!

QOTD: What's left on your pre-baby to-do list?

Re: Pregnant (& TTC) After Preemie Check-in!

  • I hope ya'll don't mind my posting a day early, my husband is out of town on travel and after my fall on Sunday, my mother-in-law decided to come stay with Ellie and I. She's coming up this afternoon, so I probably won't have a chance to post tomorrow.

I already posted about my L&D and fall drama from over the weekend, and thankfully nothing's happened since then. Yesterday was a big movement day for LO, and I'm not feeling as sore, either. Somehow, even though I only remember hitting my back, I have a HUGE, nasty bruise on my knee, too. I have my glucose test tomorrow - it's a 2 hr and at this point in my pregnancy with DD, I failed one of the draws on the 3 hr, so I'm hoping I pass. I'm supposed to meet soon with the OB who did my C-section to get the final word on whether I should attempt a VBAC or not, so that'll probably be my next baby-related visit, and then I start weekly NSTs at 30 weeks. It's FLYING by!

QOTD: I feel like I still have a lot to do to prep DD1 for DD2's arrival, but less to do to prepare for the baby herself. I still need to get DD1 sleeping in her big girl room (hopefully within the next few weeks), then I need to get the nursery set up as a nursery again (raise the crib mattress, sort through baby clothes). I also need to get the car seats installed, which I'll probably do sometime next month.

  • Wrong board?  Or maybe I just didn't realize we had so many SAIFers with preemies who are TTC again!

After 2 rounds of IVF & 2 rounds of FET, we were blessed with identical twin girls!

I was thinking the same, guessing she meant to post this on Preemies...I'm just so impressed reading the histories how many had 23-26 weekers that survived. Amazing.

Yep, that's exactly what happened! Sorry, ladies!
