And she's found God.  That's great, because he left me a loooooong time ago.

 

And I can't fuckingsleep because I keep having dreams about being stuck in my childhood home with no way of leaving.

There are no such thing as grandparent's rights unless both you and M were gone.

DHs mom tried to pull that crap with my nephew. It's why she doesn't even know that our kids exist. She's BSC.

I'm so sorry. The IL's pulled that back when we were estranged and I consulted a lawyer--grandparents have no rights to the children. We did, however, include in our will that they have no right to our children--because if Jon and I had died, they could have taken their guardian to court for visitation.

Massive hugs coming your way.  I guess the bright side is that she wants to see him.  My mom has seen them once in the past year, hasn't called in two months, and the only way I know she is still alive is that she "likes" everything on Facebook.

I am sorry. If you haven't already, you need to update/draw wills that include what ghm did. If both you an your DH are gone, you don't want her NEAR your child!!
