We're telling my parents on Father's Day (it will be their first grandchild) and his parents next week (it will be their 7th grandchild). Other than that - we're keeping it pretty quiet for a few weeks. I don't have my first dr's appt until July 1st so I'll probably start sharing with more friends and family after that.
We've already told family and close friends. I have a big mouth But I also know these people well enough that if something happened we'd be sharing with them, so it made sense for us. The rest of the world we'll tell sometime after we hear the heartbeat.

Exactly this. I plan on telling my friends after my first doctor appointment on July 1st. I don't think I will be able to hold it in much longer than that.
I told my sister, 2 co-workers and about 3 friends. My fiance told his dad because he was excited - how cute? We told his mom together. I am waiting to tell my mom in person (probably this week.) Then that's all for a while!

I've pretty much told everyone. I have been very open about my IF journey and everything that went on with the past IVF...so people will know right away too. I am also in that same boat where I would probably tell people if I went through a m/c, so it does not worry me to tell people if I am getting pos. tests.
We're trying to hold out on telling anyone until after our first appt at least. I did slip up and tell my best friend - mostly because I needed to talk to someone close to me who has been through this before.
We told my family (parents and brother) over dinner the day we got the BFP. We just told my DH's family (parents and sister) over FaceTime last night as they live overseas. It was great to be able to tell them in "person" and show them the ultrasound at 5 weeks. We have also told 2 of our closest friends. The rest of the world will have to wait until end of July when we hit the 12 weeks mark. Well... that's the plan if I can keep a secret for that long.
I think we are telling my parents on Father's Day and MIL on our family vacaion over the 4th. I hate telling people early but it is so hard to keep it in. The rest of our family/friends will find out after we hear the heartbeat.
We've had a hard time not telling... we started out with a select group of people we would tell, my mom, each of our best friends and two of my really close college friends... Well our pastor and his wife, two more friends, one of my coworkers and DH boss later... lol! Oops! My MIL will be coming to visit in a month and we plan on telling her then (I'll be 9-10wks) and then EVERYONE will know haha! We've wanted to tell her but she can't keep a secret worth a darn It will be FB official at 12 weeks.
We're planning on telling our parents and siblings this weekend, but everyone else is going to have to wait until 12 weeks. It will probably be FB official shortly after that
Frankly, I can't believe I've been able to keep my mouth shut since I got my BFP!

I replied to a similar thread... at the earliest after the NT but more likely not until after the anatomy scan. We lost a baby last year at 23w and I don't want to have to share a loss again. It sucks!
Mom to G 10.23.06, H 9.04.08 and a baby in heaven 10.07.10 (23w due to chromosome deletion)
I've told my parents, a friend, and a couple people at work. I couldn't really avoid telling my coworkers. They knew something was up by how sick I was at work.

I guess we are scared to tell, last time we told our close friends and my boss (because of my job) we had a MC @ week 6 confirmed in week 8. We were crushed, we ended up telling our parents after the fact. It has taken a long time to get this BFP.
We see the midwife on June 15 to confirm the pregnancy. We are not telling our parents until next weekend (Father's Day) We will call DH's parents and I will go see mine since DH has to work .
We haven't decided on when to tell our friends, bosses and staff (we are both managers)
