Aw, present from sister

My sister and I are very close.  I called her as soon as we got the + test, and today I got a package in the mail from her.  She got me The Girlfriends Guide to Pregnancy.  She also sent me a little baby lovie, which is a little bear head with the little square of fabric coming off.  

She added a note saying that my mom had bought her the lovie when she was pregnant with her first, but that neither of her kids had attached to it, so she thought maybe it was meant for me.  Our parents passed away 6 years ago, and it's hard going through my first pregnancy without my mom.  It's so nice that my baby will have something from my mom, and that my sister is thoughtful enough to have saved these kinds of things for me.

Aww that is so sweet! Call me hormonal but that made me tear up!  Glad to hear you have such a good sister in the absence of your mom. I can only imagine how hard this is for you and how much you wish she was here to share in this with you! I am glad you have something you can give your baby from her

Aww, I agree.  What a wonderful sister.  I'm so sorry your parents aren't here but what a job they did raising you and your sister for such a sweet response!
