1st Trimester

Cinnamon & Peppermint Tea

I've heard some conflicting things about cinnamon--- am I able to have cinnamon?  There is an old wives tale saying it will cause you to possibly lose the baby.  I'm terrified of that so I've been staying away from it.  But is it true??

 Also, in my previous life (not pregnant) I was a tea & coffee drinker.  I have given up all caffinated drinks but still crave my peppermint tea (decaffinated), am I okay to drink that?  I've heard that herbal teas may not be good for me...

 Please help this clueless & concerned mom-to-be :)
