I haven't thrown up yet this time, but I'm almost always nauseous. I got both of these things over the weekend, and the preggie pops do seem to help, but they don't taste very good. I haven't taken the other stuff long enough to see if it works for me or not. Just wondering what your experiences were. TIA
Re: Has anyone tried these things for m/s?
I used the preggie pops, Some were too gross for me to even suck on. I don't think they really worked, I wont spend the money on them for our next kiddo.
Ginger ale and saltine crackers helped me the best. I kept saltine crackers by my bed and would eat a couple before even getting out of bed in the morning, it really helped along with a little ginger ale, sipping it, not just drinking it.
Hope that helps
My husband thinks that Preggie pops are a cure all. But they are effective as any hard candy.
I haven't tried the other. I have been drinking a ton of water to try to keep SOMETHING in my belly. Which just makes me throw up water.
I had the same experience with preggie pops. the first few were fine, but now I can't even think about putting one in my mouth because it tastes so gross to me right now.
same with ginger candies.
apple slices work for me. for now.
I have been taking the Mommy's Bliss (morning sickness comfort) 4 times a day as recommended for that past 2 weeks religiously. I can't tell if it is the Mommy's Bliss that has been helping, or if I'm adjusting to the hormonal changes...but I feel much better. I'm afraid to wean myself off in fear m/s it will return with a vengeance. It is NOT cheap. If you take it as directed, cost is about $30.00/month. (60 pills should last about 2 weeks at 4 a day). Small price to pay if it helps, though.
Me too! But only the sour variety.
OMG, I love your siggy pic!!
Preggie pops didn't do ANYTHING for me at all!
I did ginger ale, sprite for quite some time then also some sips of coke. I also did the crackers as well but it got to a point where I couldn't even look at a cracker without gagging so I have found that dry cereal helps a lot (Cheerios). I keep a little ziplock bag of Honey Nut Cheerios in my purse and another bag in my glovebox lol just in case I need a little something and I'm feeling like I'm gonna lose it! It really seems to help!
Canned peaches, or just the juice seemed to help in the am also!
Preggie pops were okay (although I have not been all that nauseous). What did help when I was is sipping a nice cold glass of water with a wedge of lemon squeezed it. Cheaper that candies or pills!
Good luck!
