Has anyone tried these things for m/s?

Preggie Pops or Mommy's Bliss

I haven't thrown up yet this time, but I'm almost always nauseous. I got both of these things over the weekend, and the preggie pops do seem to  help, but they don't taste very good. I haven't taken the other stuff long enough to see if it works for me or not. Just wondering what your experiences were. TIA

  • I used the preggie pops, Some were too gross for me to even suck on. I don't think they really worked, I wont spend the money on them for our next kiddo.

Ginger ale and saltine crackers helped me the best.  I kept saltine crackers by my bed and would eat a couple before even getting out of bed in the morning, it really helped along with a little ginger ale, sipping it, not just drinking it.

    Hope that helps :)

  • My husband thinks that Preggie pops are a cure all.  But they are effective as any hard candy.

I haven't tried the other.  I have been drinking a ton of water to try to keep SOMETHING in my belly.  Which just makes me throw up water.

  • I have not tried those things..but I am almost always nauseous I usually try to eat small snacks so that my stomach is not empty that seems to help a lot. Also if it gets too bad I have nausea pills that I take that were pescribed by my doctor.

  • I had the same experience with preggie pops. the first few were fine, but now I can't even think about putting one in my mouth because it tastes so gross to me right now. :(  same with ginger candies.

apple slices work for me. for now.

  • I actually really like the preggie pops... I savor them!

  • Sweet Tarts were my go to candies last pregnancy. I ate so many of them I should have bought stock in the parent company.

  • I have been taking the Mommy's Bliss (morning sickness comfort) 4 times a day as recommended for that past 2 weeks religiously.  I can't tell if it is the Mommy's Bliss that has been helping, or if I'm adjusting to the hormonal changes...but I feel much better.  I'm afraid to wean myself off in fear m/s it will return with a vengeance.  It is NOT cheap. If you take it as directed, cost is about $30.00/month. (60 pills should last about 2 weeks at 4 a day).  Small price to pay if it helps, though.

OMG, I love your siggy pic!! :)

  • I use the preggie pops...they take the edge off but don't get rid of the nausea...and they are sour...which definitely is not what I have been craving...
  • Preggie pops didn't do ANYTHING for me at all!

I did ginger ale, sprite for quite some time then also some sips of coke.  I also did the crackers as well but it got to a point where I couldn't even look at a cracker without gagging so I have found that dry cereal helps a lot (Cheerios).  I keep a little ziplock bag of Honey Nut Cheerios in my purse and another bag in my glovebox lol just in case I need a little something and I'm feeling like I'm gonna lose it!  It really seems to help!

Canned peaches, or just the juice seemed to help in the am also!

  • Preggie pops were okay (although I have not been all that nauseous).  What did help when I was is sipping a nice cold glass of water with a wedge of lemon squeezed it.  Cheaper that candies or pills!

     Good luck!
