First Weekend Away

I spent my first weekend away from the girls this past weekend.  I went away with my college girlfriends to a little beach town on the Washington coast.  It was soooooo wonderful!  I missed my girls a bunch, but the break was so nice.  I got to sleep in (as much as I could) and enjoy a relaxing time with my friends.  We ate, drank, walked on the beach, played games and just hung out. 

I highly recommend all mom's take a weekend away like this.  It totally re-charged my batteries and I was over the moon to see my girls when I got home yesterday.  It was nice to miss my hubby too!

Sounds like a great time!  I have my annual college girls weekend in two weeks.  We are doing a cabin in the woods (this "cabin" is hardly rustic - pool, hot tub, pool table etc.).  I'm sad to leave DS for two nights but so excited to have some "me" time.  And some sleep!

well that sounds amazing!!  (oh, and I had to laugh when I realized on FB that your comment about a girls weekend away wasn't about you coming to the gtg!  I was sad! lol!)  glad you had a great time though!
