I posted earlier about a mythical simple baby book for DD #2. I have mine from when I was little (there are about 20 things written in it) and there are 3 notes next to mine with my little sis's info. As in her birth wt, ht and time. LOL. So, I'm trying to avoid that.
Funny story: I use my baby book as proof my parents are CRAZY. First, they claimed I "walked" at 6.5-7 months when DD was that age. Thankfully, my baby book had the date and it was actually nine, closer to ten months. And I'm giving them the side eye on their definition of "walking". There are numerous other examples of milestones I reached at shockingly impossible ages that it's helped solve. But, my favorite tidbit: I had "cereal" for the first time at 6 weeks and veggies at 8 weeks old!!
I know times were different, but holy he** folks. And I'm not a delaying solids kinda momma, but how did I exactly "eat" cereal and "loved it" at 6 weeks old!?!
I'm hoping as I get senile, DDs can use it like I have
Anyone else with funny stories from theirs?
Re: S/O Your baby book
I don't have any funny baby book stories but I wanted to say hi. Can you believe we are inthe third trimester already?
My parents did a nice job with my baby book. I was lame and could never find the time to put one together for DD. I purchased a baby book and had the best intentions but...
LOL! I love your baby book story:)~
Mine is filled out a little bit. I bought Isabel's and I WAS going to fill out MY kids baby book way better than my mom did..... Like pp I had good intentions.... I have filled some of it out and I have pieces of paper thrown in it with important info on it.
