DD purple lips but acting fine??

She has asthma, but purple lips have never been an issue. Usually if she's struggling we can hear it and her eyes get dark circles.
She was vomiting Thursday night, a lot, and then had diarrhea Friday and yesterday. Went to bed at 830ish and woke up around 930, which is 3 hours later than normal. She feels a little warm to me (our stupid thermometer broke) and her lips look purple. WWYD?

Nevermind, we're doing a rescue neb treatment, waiting 20 mins and if she's still blue, going to urgent care. Her hands, feet, and lips are cold to the touch.

I think this is a good plan. Good luck! Sometimes I get really slow acting asthma attacks and don't notice until my hands and feet are really cold. It can be scary to realize that is what is going on.

Can you measure her ox levels at home? You don't have to struggle to breath to have low oxygen levels. We got a pulse ox finger tip thing off amazon for under $40 so we could measure Duders at home. You are welcome to ours if you want it, it just sits in the cabinet.

We did the rescue treatment and she fell asleep during our 20 minute waiting period. When I laid her down in bed her lips looked better and her hands weren't icy anymore. I've gone in to check on her a few times and she seems to be doing okay now. We're going to watch her like a hawk the rest of the day and call her allergist tomorrow to see what they think about this little 'episode'.

Thanks for the offer.. if she gives us anymore scary signs, we may take you up on that.

I hope she continues to improve! We have a stethoscope too. I can drop them to you later if you want. I have to go that way to pick up ty's girlfriend.
