I tried to like Phoebe, because my husband loved it, but I just couldn't.  I think it's cute, but there's something about it I don't like.  I love Josephine though!!  Phoebe Josephine does flow nicely, though.

Haha well that's true she's actually my favorite too!  Just not sure I'd want to name my kid after her .

I really like it.  At the beginning of our naming process which was not drawn out, I did throw this name out to DH and he hated it.  I think it's adorable.  I like the nn Phoebs!

Phoebe Josephine is a great name! And yes, a character on friend's was named Phoebe, but it is also a name of Greek origin meaning "bright and shining". "Radiant Phoebe" was the grandmother of Apollo in Greek mythology. Phebe was a shepherdess in Shakespeare's As You Like It. It was also the name of one of America's first lawyers (Phoebe Couzins).

I love it! I had it on my list of names but SO couldn't get over Phoebe from Friends either....
