Shower Favor Question

Right now the shower I'm hosting has 13 confirmed guests, 4 maybe and 9 not responded (::shakes fist::). Many of the cute little items I'm looking to order come in groups of 12.

Thinking back to other showers, it seems like there are always a lot of favors left over. Of course, I'm being all optomistic and thinking that since my favors will be like the best eva, none will be left behind =P But anyway, what has your experience been about your favor to guest ratio?

I've only been to one shower that had favors.  They were cute, but it now sits on one of my medicine cabinet's shelves.  (They were cute baby item pins.)  I think that there weren't many left over though.

I haven't been to many showers with favors. Most of the favors that I have received have been edible (cookies, pralines, small jars of jam, etc), so it was no big deal if there were any extra.

I don't know what you are looking at for favors, but is it anything that could be added to a Christmas or birthday present if you have extras? (Obviously for family/friends that have nothing to do with this shower so they would not know you were repurposing the favors.)

If they are suitable for regifting, then I wouldn't worry at all about extras.

If it's food I always take it lol! Trinkets I leave behind. Unless they get handed out to people there are normally Leftovers. Just put them in a basket and you should be okay
