Today?s yard saling bonanza:

4 books (Girl With a Pearl Earring, Julie & Julia, Eat Pray Love and House of Special Purpose) = .50 each
Bag of children?s hangers that all match = 1.00
Lemon Sugar perfume = .50

Okay, yeah, nice. Pretty average day so far. The I get to a completely uninteresting sale?

Mahogany dining room set: table, 6 chairs, 3 leaves, table pads and extra upholstery fabric for chairs = 150.00 and they are delivering it. It?s a simple, classic style and in really good condition. Now I won?t have an empty dining room!! The fabric even matches the curtains that are already in there and the furniture coordinates with the sideboard and china cabinet.

for FIVE DOLLARS. He had them marked $15, told me I could have them for $5 and he?d tell his wife he got $20 for them. LOL I've been looking for a cheap set of 'good' dishes to use for family birthdays, etc. This way, I won't have a cow if one of the kids breaks a piece.

Northeast Ohio yard sale days have always been Th/Fr/Sat. I don't know why Thursdays, but that's the way it is. Many people are moving away from it because they work, but there are still tons who stick to the traditional days.

I love it. Keeps the kids busy and tires them out getting in and out of the car. LOL

Very true. Thursday is usually the busiest garage sale day around here.

It's clearly something that she got as a gift, tried maybe once or twice and then decided she didn't like. I love it. Perfect summer scent.
