Second Beta (after all that drama yesterday)

So after dealing with the horrible nurse yesterday......my doctor personally called me back just now to tell me that my beta count looks great!! On 5/31- 315 and yesterday's- 5,000! He again apologized for the nurse, and said it was completely unacceptable! Ummm ya?!? She had told me, when I asked for another beta to ease my mind cause I feel like I'll go crazy waiting for the 15th (my sonogram)...she giggled and told me "your gonna cause yourself to have a miscarriage"! Well needless to say yesterday was not a good day for me....but today is a whole new day!!!!! So happy about my beta # *beta happy dance*

    That's a fantastic number!  I'm so thrilled for you.  And I am really glad the Dr acknowledged the nurse's bad behavior and apologized for it.

    Great numbers!!! I'm glad your Dr acknowledge how dumb that nurse was. Hopefully he will have a talk with her so she doesn't make any other horrible comment.

    This! That nurse should know better than to say such things...ESPECIALLY given the profession she is in and knowing that she does in fact treat patients who have had and are going through miscarriages!

    I am so happy about those beta numbers, they sound perfect!!! =)

    Your suggestion is much nicer then what I was thinking lol I had told her earlier in the conversation about my loss in march, you would think she would know better....guess not ;( As I told my doctor...for the last few months everyone had tried to convince me there wasn't anything I did to cause it...this nurse tells me that*sigh*

    I'm glad you said something to your doctor about the nurse. I hope he addresses her behavior FIRMLY and keeps her from doing something like that again. And congrats on the great beta!
