I am ready to duct tape my toddler's diapers to his a$$. Yesterday he was down for his nap and I forgot to put a safety pin through his zipper (my bad) and he took his pajamas off, took his diaper off, pooped on his floor, stepped in it, walked around & got it on his bedding and all over the floor. He then climbed into his bed naked and fell asleep and peed all over his bed and pillow. Nice. Time to look into a video monitor.

This morning he is standing in the living room and I'm sitting at the dining room table 5 feet away drinking my coffee and he takes his diaper off and drops poop all over the rug. Thankfully I was right there so he couldn't spread it around this time.

Let's hope that's the end of these sh!t-tastic episodes.

UGHGHGHGHGHGH!!!!!

B had an episode like that in her crib a few weeks ago.  It was HORRIBLE.  I feel your pain, big time!

Well if it makes you feel any better I have the opposite problem.  The twins follow me around begging me to put a diaper on them because they refuse to poop anywhere else.  They will hold it all day until I put the diaper on.

Not laughing at your pain-- for fear I'll be there someday too-- but the way you told the story made me LOL! Our kids are just figuring out how to take their diapers off, so thanks for the safety pin trick!
