I'd love to hear responses too. I'm 13 wks pg and about to be a single mom to a 4 y.o. and these babies that are on the way ... my dh is taking a job out of state.

So, you're divorcing or will temporarily be apart?

*Raises Hand* Currently with this pregnancy, I'm together with my boyfriend. But I have been a single mom since my first child was born. My ex-husband was never a husband nor a father. He spent more time living away from home than in it. I even drove myself home from the hospital after I had the twins. They are now almost 9 years old. You can do it, I've been doing it on my own. It can be challenging at times, but you will find strength you didn't know you had.

temporarily living apart. he will visit on a few extended weekends and will take some time off when babies are here. hopefully we will all join him in May 2012. I'm staying here with our 4y.o. to sell the house and keep my job for another year. He volunteered to take our 4y.o. but i could never agree to that.
I'm a single mom..Things are not that bad at all. Its a lot of work. I just stick to my regular schedule and try to keep organize. Also, with the help and support from friends and family, its not that bad.
I'm a single mom. It's definitely doable and if your husband takes them every other weekend, I would say it's more than doable.
It's difficult don't get me wrong, especially as they get older and need a different kind of attention. My family lives an hour away, so not close enough that I can drop them with them to run errands or get some time to myself. But, I have an army of neighbors and babysitters that help me out when I need it. You definitely have to be organized though!

I see that you already have your twins - so are you currently contemplating becoming a single MoM?
4 Fresh IVF cycles + 1 FET where embies didn't survive the thaw = 2 perfect little men!
sFET 11/9/11 - Beta 11/18 BFP!
My husband and I are going thru a lot right now... there is always arguments about everything.
We both pretty much said if things don't change we need to start thinking about a divorce.
Yikes! I'm so so sorry to hear about this.
Anyways, I'm sure you know the amount of "work" involved in raising multiples. But it's no reason to stay in an unhappy marriage.
Good luck and hugs!
