FISH results for CVS testing

One more question about the CVS testing . . . do you have to pay extra for the FISH results to get them quicker?  Or no?  Because I read somewhere that you can pay up to like $300 for quicker results but I'm not sure if the the results they were referring to were the "FISH" results or something else.  Just curious!

    I wasn't charged anything extra for the FISH results- I thought it was standard practice. Good luck and I hope they get back to you quickly :)

    I was told FISH was optional and an extra charge, but my insurance paid for it.

    I didn't have to pay any extra, but it may depend on your insurance. For me, they just did it automatically.

    It was fully covered by my insurance.  The genetic counselor did have idea of what my insurance would and would not pay for when we met for the appointment. I certainly wouldn't hurt to check with your insurance.
