No more apnea moniter!

They took Teagen off the apnea moniter on friday and I must say it feels completely awkward to have a baby with no wires LOL shes up to 8lbs 13 ozs and a month adjusted.

Its been such an amazing week, I graduated and Teagen finally started to actually smile but only at the ceiling fan lol. Shes doing great with her reflux too, she does keep getting constipated even though I've tried everything!

  • That is great!  I loved getting rid of ours, after 7 weeks I was about ready to throw that thing out the window!

  • BUT HOW DO YOU KNOW IF YOUR BABY IS BREATHING?

Jk, but not really... Mine will probably come home with them, and I think I'm going to want to send them to Kindergarten still wearing their monitors.

  • Yay!!  I bet your are glad to be done with that!! Can I ask how long she had to be on the monitor?

Karissa has been on her's for almost a week and I just love the false alarms!! LOL! We were told that she will have to be on the monitor at leas 4 weeks past her orginal due date. That would be almost 2 months of being on the monitor!

Teagen was on hers for 7 weeks but towards the end I'd take her off of it during the day for an hour here and an hour there. It was a major pain considering it weighed more than she does but it was always a comfort thats for sure.
