Right now, I'm in Minnesota. It's DH's home and I stopped here to break up some time on the way to Ohio here in a few weeks. That and it got me out of No. Dakota early.

I went to the Target where DH worked in HS and still has a slew of people that he knows where a girl our age runs up to me, realizing I'm DH's wife. We said the hi, how are you's, the typical conversation when she starts beaming and says, "oh my God are you pregnant?" Um, what? (I really don't know her too well, other than when we come into town) I stand there, more than likely with my mouth down and she smiles and says, "I can totally see the belly, you always show quicker with your second and you're just glowing." I didn't really know what to say so I laughed and said, wait and see. But, really? How the hell does someone guess that? And further more, I've been battling my jeans that I can't quite get to fit right, at all. Which is why I'm glad it's 90 here and I can wear my summer dresses.  I know I'm bloated, but there's no way this lady could look and just tell.

That's what I thought too. Since we shared with family and very close friends. But, the thing is, we have no connection or ties with her unless we come into town. She isn't connected with any of the people we know, at all. I have no idea how she could just guess. Unless I really am THAT bloated, but I didn't think I was.

omgosh thats too weird. When I was pregnant with OL we waited to tell ppl until I had my first ultrasound at 10 weeks, when I was about 7-8 weeks pregnant a complete stranger in the bathroom at a resturant came up to me while I was washing my hands and was like "I think your having a girl, your glow is gorgous, best of luck with your little one." I was soooo shocked how did she know..and I did end up having a girl!

That is crazy, I'm sure you don't look pregnant. I had someone guess when I was very early on just because she knew we were trying and she just asked like that assuming I was. During my last pregnancy someone also guessed because my boobs had gotten so much bigger, even in the 6 weeks I was pregnant, and she knew right away. Some people just suspect and are always on the lookout, don't take it personally!
