***EDIT*** I am only friends with the OP who stated something about how expensive formula was and this is all that branched from it. As far as I know, they are all over 25, too.***EDIT*** 

One of my friends started a status and it has 307 comments from about 5 people. Here are a few of the winning comments:

• 1. Breast feeding in public is disgusting. It's pure exhibitionism. And it's not about feeding your child, it's about making a statement. Well, why would I want to see your boob(s) while strolling through the park or shopping or whatever? Why should you be allowed to MAKE me see your boobs? Maybe I don't want my kids peering at other ladies boobs and asking funny questions. Why should my right to NOT be exposed to something be lesser than your intent to flash them around?
• 2. Yup, you boob flashers just want to fight. YOU are the ones who can't accept an opposing opinion. But then don't come squealing when someone rapes you, snatches your child away - while you blissfully "feed" it - or feels you up in broad daylight. You're asking for it and you have been warned. 
• 3. Oh you said quite enough when you said you posted a pic on FB breast feeding. And you said your THREE year old just weaned himself off. Jesus - a three year old on a womans breast? *** outrageous. What? You African? Can't feed the kid normally? Savage.
• 4. And if you had any education other than the "health organisations" you supposedly listen to and gobble up their every piece of propaganda (debunked in CIVILIZED countries for your information), you would know the psychological consequences of tit feeding a three year old male child. You're just making another little idiot with your "motherly love" aka boob flashing syndrome.
•  5. my goodness ladies.....I have to say breastfeeding a 3 year old is a bit much. There is a good chance that he will have some issues to deal with. I also think you need to look into why you would want to keep that going. Ivana is a very intelligent person so you should look into what she brought up. None of this was about you feeding your child, it was always about you doing it in public. You keep saying that you don't flash your boobs, but you are. I think Ivana brings up a great point about mothers trying to make a statement or just being too lazy to find someone else to go. Like I said before.... breastfeeding is a choice not a necessity and there is no reason it has to take place in front of the public. Now, we should all probably just agree to disagree b/c no one will budge on this.
• 6. erm well I guess if breastfeeding is so sexual then using a bottle must be the equivalent to using a dildo right? I mean according to that logic.......
• 7. ?... oh f^ck off. I don't want to explain to my little cousins why the f^ck your nipple is out. Cover yourself... that's disgusting. If you want to breastfeed that's your business... however exposing someone's child to that is wrong. " the law says I'm wrong" as in what? I'm sure if you look close enough you can't show your nipple. 
• 8. umm no. Your nipples are very dirty and you're not washing them before you put it in the babies mouth... so that doesn't make any sense. It's not best for 99% of children that you make your nipples be seen in public.. that's just nonsense. It's clearly a statement that you decided to make. You didn't answer my question. Do you want girls to just be topless?
• 9. You do not have to expose yourself to the public for your child to eat... so if you're okay with other children seeing a woman's nipple and breast why can they not see a man's penis? I don't want to see your nipple when I'm trying to shop or eat my dinner, if I wanted to see that I would pay and go see the strippers.....

 

All I can say at the end of this... wtf? I'm just floored at the ignorance of so many people.

I have to argue with the person that said BF is not a necessity.  Have they seen how much formula costs??  For some people yes, it is a necessity because they can't afford all that formula!

Going out on a limb here, but guessing these people would either say that you shouldn't have a child you can't afford OR that's what WIC is for. Doesn't sound like reality has any grasp on people who don't see BFing as a legitimate form of feeding a child.

Who's nipples are so dirty that its stupid to breast feed? How the F do they get so dirty?? My DD refuses to take a bottle, so it is a necessity. These are likely the same people that b!tch a whine about a screaming baby in public. I do not hesitate to BF in public, I use a blanket or whatever to cover up, its not like we're making a show about it and demanding people watch.

I still BF in public from time to time now.  I try and cover with a blanket but DS won't have any of that.  I have a piece of advice for those who don't want to see my beautiful knockers- DON'T LOOK.

Seriously, they're boobs- that's what they were made for.

This post makes me want to drive to daycare, pick up my breastfeeding 2 year old, and go hang out in some public place so I can nurse him with my dirty nipples. Oh - and I don't own any nursing coverups so I'll be sure to flash everyone very non-discreetly.

No. The OP was a choir friend from my 1st high school in another state. The others, I have no clue who they are. There were only 2 girls on that whole post that had opinions that weren't offensive at all.

OMG!  That whole post is crazy.  I nursed in public and I can assure you that 99% of the time no one knew I was nursing.  100% of the time, I never exposed any boob or nipple and that was without a blanket or nursing cover.  She is crazy.  I guess she would have had some choice comments for me the day I sat in the middle of the aisle at Target to nurse my 4 month old when he was screaming his head off.
