Spotting Question (probably TMI)

This all feels very TMI to me but I need some help.  I apologize in advance....

Okay, I had to take Zofran via IV Monday night b/c of a nasty bug I caught.  Of course, that caused some major back-up and that finally resolved itself today after a double dose of probiotics and some Colace.  But I noticed that after the trip to the bathroom I had some mild (and I mean very mild) spotting (not from the rear, either).  Could it be from the big poop?  Has anyone else ever had spotting after a big bm?

I know the spotting wasn't from the back, it was mixed in with my normal CM, so hemorrhoids isn't the answer.

It could be from popping but I'd call the doctor anyways.

I've had spotting even with a non-notable bm.  I'd still call the doc though, they generally like to know about bleeding no matter how minor.

I have definitely had some light spotting after BMs. It always goes away quickly which helps me not worry. My MW told me to expect it because of extra blood vessels on the cervix with pregnancy. Hope yours stops, definitely call if you're concerned or it doesn't stop.

Yup, for awhile ANYtime I had a BM, I spotted. I started wiping before and after so I could tell what the spotting was from. I often called my dr anyway, just because icard med me down. I hope this is all it is for you too!

Thanks, ladies. Glad to hear this has happened to others. I'll probably call the doctor tomorrow just to let them know. I'm quickly beginning "that" patient....
