Since I am a SAHM, I worry that my child may not be developing as much as if she was in daycare. I play with her every day and try to teach her things like what certain objects are, clapping, etc. Does anyone else worry about this? What are your LO doing at 10 months old?
Re: Developmental Skills ~ 10mo
There are so many pluses and minuses of being a SAHM vs Daycare.
I am a SAHM and my son is 3 now. In the fall, I plan on signing him up to preschool so he can interact with other children more. I'd say that is the only skill he lacks is social skills. It's not that he's scared of other children, he is very much interested in them, he just acts a little strange.
Looks like the wrong board but I'll bite.
Sign up for some mommy & me classes or a gymboree class (my DD loved Gymboree). Do story time at the library. Join a local MOMs club or MOPs. Gettign out/social will give you ideas on what to do with your DC and get you both some social outlets.
