Look out, world.

Per the advice of Hippy, I just ordered the book, Stitch and B!tch to take with me to Canada next week.

Does anyone know if TSA allows knitting needles on aircraft these days?

Re: Look out, world.

  • Yep, you can take them.  I would reccomend getting bamboo ones.  I love mine.  And you can get them in shorter lengths, which is awesome.

  • Cool!  The ones I bought are bamboo.  Do you think it would behoove me to purchase some fun yarn to start with?  Fun = merino, cashmere, etc...not lumpy chenille, or something of that nature.
  • I wouldn't buy anything expensive since there is a learning curve.  You don't want to pull out and redo the nice stuff.  Believe me, you will just get mad at yourself for it.  You are going to have so much fun!
  • OOOHHHH......Can I get in line for the Glad Longies that will be in production soon??Stick out tongue
  • Do yourself a favor and buy the cheapest acrylic yarn you can buy.  =)

  • I have apple pie filling (organic homemade), apple sauce, candied apple sauce, spiced apples, pears, spiced pears, spaghetti sauce...

    All homegrown organic homecanned goodness.

I am first in line behind the Glad minis.

  • ...ladies...seriously.  It'll be a while.  You should *see* what I've done thus far.  It's this twisted, gnarled, lumpy, misshapen, bizarre thing that really has no business anywhere but the scrap heap.

Hopefully, hours upon hours in airports and on planes will do wonders for my skillz.
