How much do you pay for nanny?

I was just reading another bump board and everyone posted that they paid their in-home nanny around $30 a day.  We pay ours $75!  Am I paying way too much or were those other bumpies from the mid-west or someplace much cheaper than Atlanta?

I pay $60 for 1 child for 5 hours/day (8-1).  I think they must live somewhere very cheap.

In home child care also means in the babysitter's home. I'm guessing that is more in line with $30 a day. The going rate for nannies in atlanta seem to run $450 to $550 a week for one child. I've occasionally seen nannies at $600 especially if they have a lot of experience or other household duties.

I pay mine $220 a week. 4 days 8 hours each day. She is truly amazing. I'm in east Cobb

We pay ours 80 a day, 400 a week. She comes our house 8 hours a day, Mon-Fri.
