I don't understand that when I have my NSTs I never have contractions but when I am up and walking around I have them. Anyways, I was wondering if contractions can happen on half of my belly? If feels like it starts way down low like where I normally feel the contractions but it goes up the left side of my belly towards the top of my uterus. It happened a few times when I was just walking around in Wal-Mart and I wasn't sure if that would be considered a contraction or what it was..I just know it hurt and I could barely walk.

I get that all the time. If it's not your entire belly, it's not an actual BH or contraction (according to my OB). It's probably the baby pressing her back/bottom against your belly. Of course it still hurts like a b**ch.
