Resolve group

Has anyone been to a support group?  Last time I was in my RE's office there was a flyer for a group that meets once a month.  The meeting is the first Sunday of the month.  I am trying to decide if I want to go.  With our first IVF coming up, I think it may be a good thing for me.

My office has a group (not run by resolve - but a therapist) - its once a month and I've went for the past 3 months.  I really like going - in a strange way it is nice to be in a room with other people going through this as well.  It's interesting to hear other peoples stories and the advice has been helpful as well.  The only thing that I struggle with is some of the women how have been at this a long, long time (I'm serious one woman has done 17 IUIs and 5 IVFs) - and in some ways its discouraging since you realize that for some people nothing works.   But overall I find it really helpful - so I recommend you try it out - can't hurt!

MDLuv has gone to one where she lives and I think she had a good experience. I think I'm going to look into a RESOLVE group myself, although the closest meeting is an hour away.

There is a church a block away from me that has an IF Bible study, but unfortunately, I'm finally ready to go and they are not meeting again until the fall

Any good support from other IFers is going to help you through this struggle. I don't know where I'd be if it wasn't for this board and some great friend I've made through here.
