On the flip side of nightmares, sometimes TLF stares at blank walls or ceilings and "talks," laughs, smiles, etc, just like he does in the mirror or to other people. I always wonder who he's talking to, then I wonder if it's a ghost. Then I wonder if it could be Jillian. Then I get happy because if we have a ghost In the house, I'd love it to be her.

My H was very close to his father, who wanted so badly to be a grandpa. He passed just a few months before Jack was born. Whenever Jack is babbling or giggling at nothing that we can see, I always assume he's playing with grandpa.
I totally believe that Ian is seeing his big sister, and she makes him smile.

Very sweet.
Nora does this often too. I always tell her, 'who ever is here visiting you, tell them I say Hi!'. I'm working on the assumption it's family.
I am too. I love hearing stories like this.
