Just jumped on my stomach while I was laying down! :-(  Praying all is okay...should I worry?

Re: 60 lb fur baby...

  • The baby is pretty well protected in there and as early as you are LO should still be tucked behind your pubic bone. But call your dr if you're worried.

Thanks ladies.  This info is very helpful and reassuring!  So anxious for my first u/s on Thursday, just ready to know all is well.  In the meantime, everything is stressing me out.

  • As early as you are, the LO should still be well within your pelvis.  Very unlikely anything happened.

    Sincerely,

Lady who also has a very 'affectionate' 60 lb furbaby who did the same thingWink

  • You are fine. The baby is still hiding behind your pelvic bone at this point.

  • Like the other ladies have mentioned, you should be fine.  I had the same thing happen to me and I called my dr to be reassured and sure enough, everything is going just fine.

  • I agree with everyone else saying that you should be fine. Although I understand the panic you must felt! I have a 70 lb. dog, plus we foster shelter dogs so I've learned to be on alert around them! They can jump up and on you so quickly, it's hard to catch them.
