I prepped my non-organic/natural half of my stash yesterday morning - AIOs, pockets, inserts, and wipes. I dried them for an hour and noticed my AIOs were still damp inside, so I hung them on a drying rack in the kitchen next to the window and turned the fan on.
Well, a day later and they're still damp. I guess I'll throw them back in the dryer for a while.
So, once I'm into my laundry routine with baby, would you just dry them all for a longer time in the dryer, or do you give the AIOs a little extra time on their own?
Re: so this is the problem with AIOs, huh?

Yea, that's what I was thinking. I suppose I'll let them dry on the rack for today, too, and see how they are this evening. Can you flip them inside out, or is that bad for the diaper too? I just wonder what kind of impact this will have on my regular laundry routine.
I'm not sold on AIOs (well, I'm not really sold on anything yet since baby isn't here!) but I got some mostly for MH and my aunt, who will be watching the baby a few days a week. I figure they're the easiest for people nervous/unsure of CDing.
History of IF and 2.5 years TTC. The day we were to start our first IUI we received a call that changed our lives forever and 10 month old Olivia joined our family. Shortly thereafter we got a surprise BFP and baby 2 is due July 5, 2012
This. Also I flip my BG aio' s inside out and they dry a lot faster. Not sure if you can do that with yours.
wool dryer balls help a lot- and I don't flip them inside out because I do not want to damage the PUL- I do dry them a little longer and then if they are still damp I just hang them-

I line dry everything overnight and air fluff them for 20 minutes. But yeah, if you dry them in the dryer it might not be a good idea.
Thanks ladies - I suppose I could try line drying outside when the weather permits, but being in NJ, when it's not freezing cold, it's usually really humid (though this weekend is looking great).
I have wool dryer balls already - 6 of them - and I do have a number of pockets in my stash, probably more than AIOs. I guess there's no other magic tricks to get them to dry faster.
