*KoriBrett* Get your ass in here

You opened up to me last night so you brought me into this. I have tried to contact you out of here, but this is all that's left. You've deactivated your fb and are not answering your phone.

This is fvcked up. I want to be here for you. I want to help you through this. What I don't want to do is ruin your family if you are not serious. I am scared for you right now. I am scared for the kids.

Answer your phone or call me. I do not want to call for help, but I will. I have to for my own sanity. This is fvcked up and I'm sorry for you.

  • Obviously I don't know what was said between you and Kori last night, but if it was something that was so upsetting to you that you felt compelled to post this and are considering calling the authorities, DO IT! I am so, so worried about her.

ditto this times a million.  For me this is about her kids too.  She needs to be safe for the sake of her kids.  And her kids need to be taken care of.

Just answer the phone Lisa. She's denying the call, so I know she's at least okay enough to do that.
  • what do you mean denying the call?

    is it a land line?

I'm a master at hitting redial. But, I'm at the point, if she doesn't want to reply to my emails or answer the phone then that's that.

I have not been able to post for some reason and am mostly just a lurker, but if it's to the point you're that worried about her, and given their history and what went down last night, I would definitely call now. It may not be her sending you to voicemail. does anyone live by her? I am in Michigan but completely on the other side of the state. I do have a cousin that lives over that way but she's out of state now.

    what?!

It rings and hangs up right away or goes to voicemail if you have it set up. I do it to people all the time. And, I have an app that tells my phone to hang up on certain numbers or send them straight to voicemail so I don't even have to touch the phone.

  • If you call someone's cell and it automatically goes to vm then you know their phone is turned off.  If you call someone and it rings continually THEN goes to vm, then you assume they didn't get to their phone in time, didn't hear it, etc.  If it rings once or twice then goes to vm, you've just been ignored.  Meaning they hit the 'end' or 'ignore' button.

Your mom will only know if she notices this type of thing.  My mother doesn't know any differently.  Maybe yours doesn't either?

ok- whew- that is WAY too subtle for my ma- it would have to like...say The person you are calling has opted to reject your call- for her to get it.

I didn't know that though..Im gonna have to pay more attention to the people I call!

I usually forget who Im calling after I've dialed anyway...

Or you can just hit "silent" and it keeps ringing for the person, but quiets the ring for you.

I was thinking about this as I was going to sleep. This is what it did for me to. I'm thinking I was totally wrong in thinking you were hitting end because I should have got your voicemail. If you were back in a room, it probably wasn't getting much of a signal or something.

The good thing is me thinking you were hitting end was the whole reason I thought you were okay. I asked the phone lady up there what that could mean. Sorry we were wrong!
