I feel like a major grump lately

On this board...

I feel like I'm becoming "that snarky bumpie"... but I just can't help it.  In one day we had a post saying "I'm pretty sure I'm due to have boy twins" AND "I have 8 year old Alex/Alexis twins and I call them twins to their face".

When all this craziness dies down I promise I'll be nice again.

I don't understand it myself...when DH and I named our girls we tried to make them different from each other because they are their own person (as alike as they act right now). I don't think anyone really refers to them as "the twins", I know we call them the girls or Em and Jules (nicknames)

  • I for one do not think you are being grumpy, some of the stuff that has gone on this week has been not only weird but ridiculous.

  • But what I don't get is when someone comes on with a twin related question (purely innocent-maybe ignorant, whatever) ... Everyone hops all over her but when someone comes on very suspect and borderline nuts everyone wants to defend her/him/it whatever.... The first time I posted on this board wa the day I found out Cooper had a cleft. I didn't read ANYTHING! I had JUST started to learn about the twinning process and I just dove right in with questions. No idea if I was questioned.

  • If it makes you feel any better, I had to be that b!tchy bumpie who pointed out that 2u1, while an enormous challenge, is NOT the same thing as "twins".

I don't know I just reply to people. I am not on here nearly enough to suspect anyone being weird.
