Any Submariner's Wives?

I am just wondering how many of us are submariners wives? I see many Army and Marines wives. :)

    *raises hand* Me! My husband is on shore duty right now though, he's been off of the boat about two and a half years at this point and has another 15 months left.

    Me although 16 years with only one shore duty we are praying he gets sent to a carrier. Fingers crossed

    Married 11/27/09 and TTC right away
    Dx: Complete septate uterus with cervical duplication, endometrial polyps, PCOS, endometriosis, hypo thyroid, luteal phase defect
    4 uterus surgeries to correct my complete septum and to remove polyps and 2 years of seeing the RE, medicated cycles and IUIs
    Baby 1 and 2: BFP 3/3/11 with 2 babies EDD 11/1/11, M/C 4/6/11
    Baby #3: 8/11 pregnant EDD 4/27/11 and m/c:(
    Baby #4: 10/12/11 BFP! EDD 6/16/12m/c 10/26/11
    Baby #5: 3/13/12 BFP! EDD 11/25/12 ANOTHER m/c :(

    Baby #6: 2/14/13- BFP! EDD 10/24/13, CP 2/19/13
    Baby #7: 3/15/13- BFP! EDD 11/27/13, another CP
    Baby #8.  BFP 5/19/13 EDD 1/22/14. 8 was not our lucky number

    4th septum resection on 5/31/13.
    Baby #9: 6/29/13 BFP. C section scheduled for March 5th!

    My miracle baby was born March 5 at 9:33am. He was 8 lbs 12.5 oz and 21.25 inches long!

    WOW, thats a long time! I can't imagine. Good luck if you do get a carrier - it's a whole different world. 

    Side question on your sn... are you a UF fan????

    Yes.:) we love the gators and that is where I went to under grad and grad school and I am a third generation legacy. We even named our dogs alli and gator

    GO GATORS!! That's where my hubby and I met :) I even took our 3 year old to the bowl game this year! The first thing he learned as a baby was "touchdown" and the Gator chomp.. haha.

    Yay for the ones about to get out! DH has only been in 5 years and plans on staying the full 20! We're on shore duty right now and I LOVE IT!

    I don't envy any submariner's wife. They have it the hardest in my book; having to work at a submarine command and listen to how things are done while on deployment. So just wanted to say you guys have a lot of heart and determination. So PROPS to you guys.

     My husband used to be a rider on subs. But that was before my time. Now he is a surface sailor; and that is hard enough.

    I know I'm arriving late to the post but I am a submariner wife. We're expecting our first child around the time of our first deployment.
