neosure question

my son is suppose to be getting at least one bottle of bm+ neosure but lately he wont take the bottle and i am wasting pumped bm. is there a way i can do neosure without bm cause i am suppose to do 1tsp per 90 ml and my freezer supply is gone way down because of this. hes almost 5 months

Definitely.  1tsp to 90 ml IIRC is supposed to fortify your BM to 22 calories, i.e. the same as straight Neosure.  You could try just offering a bottle of Neosure mixed to the specifications on the can or using the ready to feed (no mixing required).  Good luck!

If you do try the plain neosure, no bm, please let me know how it goes. My little guy knows when there is neosure and when we don't put it in. I am interested in seeing the difference.

Almost...1 tsp neosure to 3oz breast milk makes 20 calorie breast milk, 24 calorie milk.

Has he hit his actual age growth curve? My pedi is using that as the guideline for when I can stop with the neosure. Right now they are in the bottom half of the adjusted grown curve (9lbs at 4 weeks adjusted) and not on the curve for their actual age (14 weeks). Does pedi want him on it for weight gain or for the iron, vit d and other fortifiers in it? If just for the nutrients maybe ask if you can do poly-vi-sol instead?
