NBR: What are you getting DH for Father's Day?

Ugh.  I feel like he's so hard to shop for!  He told me he needs new shoes for work...I'm SO not getting him shoes.    Any creative ideas?

I am taking Carters picture with big wooden letters (D & A) in different positions like him holding the letters or probably chewing on them! And framing them to spell Dad in a three picture frame for his desk at work.

Good question! Chris kind of went over the top for Mother's Day, although "my" gifts were mostly gifts for both of us. But, they were awesome. I've been hoping the Lollapalooza schedule would come out (we like to pretend we're still young) so I could maybe plan a weekend in Chicago, spending a day or two at the festival and then maybe catching a Cubs game, but I don't know if I can swing that. I may have to settle for taking the family to an Indian's game and getting him a new Kinect game he's been wanting. I'm particularly stuck because I'm on call Father's Day, and the day before is my birthday, so I don't know when we will actually celebrate. I feel bad

I'm pregnant but no outside kids yet.  Even though he told me I didn't need to, I''m planning to get DH something anyway, but I don't know what yet.

Nothing, in protest. I know that we still have an inside baby,, DH, but a card on Mother's Day would have been a nice gesture.

I'm surprised he didn't get you anything!  I'm a selfish b, so I made it pretty clear that I wanted something.  :-)
