Childless not by choice

We decided to say a big "F YOU" to the holidays

I refuse to participate in any holiday this year. Call me selfish but I really do not feel like playing the "You gotta have a baaaabyyyy" game, followed by the "Lets use God to make you feel better" game.  We are forgoing Thanksgiving and hosting a "friends" Thanksgiving at our house the week before and then it is Aloha for Christmas. Mainly because I have a 30yr old, meth addict, sister who has managed to produce 2 healthy children, all while using during pregnancy. Bitchh.

We had thought about adoption...then soon discovered that people don't always want to give cancerous people babies. Who knew?  We have already broken the news about my botched eggs and STILL family/friends do the whole "God is good and will give you a baby." REALLY? Because he already "gave" me cancer, so, honestly, I'd appreciate it if he just skimped on the gifts from here on out.

In other news... I am really happy that Tosh.0 is back on for the summer.

  • Wish I had something better to say... Just *hugs*
  • Hugs from me too.
  • Thank you.

I am really sorry about the downer post. It has only been a couple months since we found out that babies a for sure no go. I honestly was okay with it before the miscarriage. That brief moment gave me the hope I had never had before.

I am looking into therapy this week and hoping to find a great match. I've read some post on here about women going through multiple people before finding "the one".

Thanks again! Have a great day!! =]

  • Christian or Atheist, I think we can all agree that bringing God into our current world of SUCK isn't appreciated. I know I hate it.

I'm so sorry you're not getting what you need from your family. We've decided to boycott the holidays, also. One BFP was Thanksgiving Day, the m/c was Christmas day, and another baby had an EDD of the following Christmas Day. So yeah, holidays just suck.

I think DH and I have decided to spend Christmas in Africa with my brother and his wife... not yet sure how we'll get out of thanksgiving since most of my family is nearby.
