Hi ladies!
I dont post on here much but I'm hoping you can help me. My son will be going to child care of some kind when I'm off from maternity leave in mid-August. He'll be 3.5 months at that time. I work in SLU in Seattle, but live in Renton (Benson Hill area), and I'm looking for child care recommendations or resources that you have found. It'd only be part time on Mon/Tues, which I'm finding is more of a PITA then a blessing Anything you know would be of great help!
TIA!
Re: Child Care in Renton/Seattle - Recommendations/Resources?
Hi--
My twins (will be 3 in July) go to a great center in Benson Hill area (we are Fairwood).
Send me an email (Bethstoughton at gmail dot com) and I will gladly share the info.
Having been a special ed teacher for 10+ years, most in early childhood, I would not have my kiddos at a center I didnt like. I know for their class (preschool 1) we were able to do part time, but I am not sure about infants. Worth checking and may also be worth checking into a PT nanny or nannyshare....
Hi Tia,
Where did you end up sending your child? We live in S Seattle, almost in Renton and I'll be going back to work in October. We're interested in nannyshare or a facility that takes children under 6 months part time. I work in downtown Seattle and we're flexible on location.
Would appreciate any advice you can share.
