Nervous, Question?

For some reason I am really nervous today. I feel like something is wrong I have no sign of anything being wrong but I am just worried.
Should I call the Dr to ask for a quick scan? My appointment is on Friday but I am really nervous.

My 30th B-day is tomorrow and I want to enjoy myself but I am so nervous and scared I will only be quiet and worried.

Should I call? I feel stupid.

I think we all have those days from time to time.

You have had great appointments so far and no symptoms of anything being amiss, so on one hand I would say wait it out until your next appointment.  That said, I know how hard it can be to wait so if you feel like you need the piece of mind sooner I would give the doctor a call.

Try to keep repeating those mantras!

If it's going to make you feel better then call. Stressing yourself out isn't good.

OH, boy, I understand. Some days I just am SURE that something is wrong. Do you have a doppler? That can help.

I turned 30 on August 19th, and I was DISTINCTLY paranoid just before that. Probably because I didn't believe that I'd get such a great b-day present as a healthy pregnancy. I think 30 is a big milestone, too, so it's natural that our fears would surface right then.

You can always call and ask for a scan. It can't hurt. You have been through so much, don't feel stupid. That is what our doctors get paid well to do - take care of us! I always feel bad asking for what I need, but the truth is that it is OK to ask for reassurance when we are scared.

If you're worried I would call.  No use driving yourself crazy until Friday.

I'd call and ask if one of the nurses can check the hb with the doppler.  That only takes a couple minutes, and it would put your mind at ease.  At worst, they tell you they are too busy to sneak you in.

Thanks, I called I felt so stupid but my DR will see me at 4:45. Still so scared. I think my doppler is makeing me a freak I emailed the company to return it.
