Camden - This is an OKAY name on a BOY, but on a GIRL, it is hideous.
Everly - Ever what?!
Greer - If Camden is a boy's name, then this is a man's name. Goodness gracious.
Leela - Leela is a pretty name and the clear winner here. Leela Isabel is a great combo. Leela isn't too popular of a name and it certainly is a girl's name. WIN!
Camden - I couldn't dislike this name more if I tried. I don't know why you'd name a baby girl after a nasty city.
Everly - nms, but fine, goes well with Isabel
Greer - not a fan. At all. There's nothing pretty about that name, especially spelled that way.
Leela - thumbs down. Did you make it up? It sounds like you did. Leah, Layla, Lyla, Lola ... those are all names, and I like any of those more than Leela.

I agree with this word for word. I actually really like the name Leela. Very pretty.
I like Everly best. I do know a Camden that is a girl, but I prefer it on a boy. I am not a fan of Greer at all. Is it a family name? Leela is pretty, but the spelling is odd. I'm not sure of a better spelling though. You couldn't spell it Lila since that is a different name entirely.
I never thought of Camden in regards to a city in NJ so I appreciate hearing that.
The spelling of Leela isn't made up - it's a Hindi name (DH has Hindi roots). It means "night beauty". I wouldn't change the spelling on it (as that's a typical spelling) because of this.
Greer isn't a family name - just one we came across that peaked our interest. Same goes for Everly.
Our # 1 is Leela and it sounds so nice with Isabel too. Thanks again!

Shows what I know. With that information in mind, I think it's very pretty.

I freaking LOVE Greer and get excited whenever I see it pop up here (which isn't often.) I think Isabel softens it nicely, too. I love Greer Garson, so it will always have an old Hollywood feel to me.

As I read these I didn't like Leela until you said that your husband has Hindi roots, and that changes everything - that is my first choice, followed by Everly. I don't like Camden, I just think its too trendy and will always date her, and I really really dislike Greer. Congratulations on your baby girl!
Re: Opinion on Girl's names!
I think Everly is the only name I like paired with Isabel.
Everly Isabel
Camden- Boys name that I cannot stand, even worse on a girl
Everly- Although not popular on this board I do like it and love that you did not opt for the -leigh spelling.
Greer- NMS, I personally like more feminine names, but it is way better then Camden
Leela- Its fine, my DS and I were just watching Futurama so currently that is the image in my head but I like the name.

All of this.
Really though, anything but Camden. Awful on a boy, but absolutely cruel for a girl.
