PLEASE HELP- what's your opinion?

TODAY: Day 11 of stims. 12 measurable follies 13-18mm in size. My E2 today, 1840. Retrieval this Wednesday That's my highest E2 ever- even on my days of retrieval I wasn't ever over 1600. Should I be concerned? ( I go back in the morning for final b/w &u/s) I know everyone is different? But what is your experience? Please, TIA.

For my last fresh cycle I think I only stimmed for 8 days and my E2 was almost 4000 the day I triggered.  I never had any issues.  I think you'll be fine but make sure you're aware of the symptoms of OHSS, just in case.  Also, if it makes you feel better, discuss your concerns with your RE tomorrow.  :)

  • Hi there.. I think your #s look ok... but it sounds like you might be worried that your E2 is too high? If that's the case I would say you are probably ok although I agree that everyone's body could react differently.  My E2 levels are always super high during stims (usually above 4000 to 5000 by day of trigger) and I have been ok.  A little extra bloating and discomfort.. but nothing that gatorade hasn't been able to cure.  I hope this helps!  And I apologize if I have misunderstood what you were looking for.  Good luck hun!

  • Hey sweets! On day 12 of stims (day of trigger) my E2 was almost 5,000 (day 10 was 2,500)! I dont remember follie size/count but I did have 22 retrieved at ER. Everyone really is different. If you're worried about OHSS, I'd just prepare for the worst and hope for the best. My doc has seen ladies with super low E2s get OHSS and those with really high ones (self inclued) who avoided it.

P.S. 12 follies is soooo awesome!!! This is most you've had, right?!

    Sending hugs!

  • I don't remember the exact number but it was in the 960's. I know my RE ideally wanted it to be over 1000, if that helps at all. That was after 11 days of stims when I was only supposed to stim for 9. They said I reacted to the meds about 2 days later than expected. i dont think i would be concerned if your RE gives you the green light . I hope that helps! GL with your ER!
