We picked our name :)

It's the one I've liked most from the beginning, and DH got on board after discussing with DD1's godparents. They both have super common names and convinced him that having a less popular name is logistically a bit easier. Also, the same weekend we had that conversation, we went to a local expo and there seemed to be little Abbys and Olivias everywhere (those were the other top names), so we're going with...

Beatrice Noelle (Bea)

It's not for everyone, but neither is Eleanor (DD1's name), and I think it'll grow on people once they meet our little Bea. So far all our family members like it. Beatrice = bringer of Joy and Noelle = born on Christmas day (DD2 was conceived on Christmas).

I love having the name picked out, the connection feels so much more real!

I like it!! It isn't that common but it is equally as beautiful as Eleanor.

I love it. It's classic!  Bea is absolutely adorable and Ellie and Bea sounds great together! Congrats on the decision! Smile

lol my entire extended family is all French-speaking, so I'm pretty sure we'd get some serious flak if we spelled it Noel. In fact, I'm guessing we'll hear about the "correct" spelling with accents from at least a few people, but the logistics of using an accent on a name in this country just seems like a pain. I love the name, though, so pretty :)
